Week 7 — It's Live (and 1,600 People Showed Up)

The Raw Theory is officially live. After months of research, sketching, and second-guessing every decision, the site is actually out in the world and the response in the first 24 hours completely caught me off guard.

Nearly 1,600 people viewed the site on day one.

I genuinely wasn't expecting that. I figured it'd trickle in slowly, maybe friends and a few curious people. Instead there was a proper wave of traffic straight away, which was equal parts exciting and slightly terrifying because it meant the pixel tracking I'd set up was immediately doing its job.

And that's the part I'm most happy about because all those visitors aren't just a nice number, they're data. Every one of them is showing me how people actually move through the site: where they land, what they click, where they linger, and where they drop off. This is exactly the kind of real-world behaviour I wanted to validate the design against, and getting this volume this early gives me a lot more to work with than I expected.

So now the focus shifts to actually reading what all this traffic is telling me. Next up: digging into the numbers and seeing whether the design is doing what it's supposed to helping people move through without hesitation.
